With cannas the background must be chosen
carefully as must be their position. Otherwise the most impressive plant
can look plain and be barely noticeable. The variety pictured is Canna
'Pretoria' (syn. C. Bengal Tiger, C. 'Striata', C.
'Malawiensis Variegata').
